Route Map (Pollachi - Valparai via Aliyar Dam)Valparai is a hill station in Coimbatore district of Tamil Nadu. This is located 3500 feet above sea level on the Anaimalai Hills range of the Western Ghats, at a distance of 95 km from Coimbatore and 55 km from Pollachi.There are 40 hairpin bends on the way to Valparai from Aliyar Dam. Valparai remains relatively undisturbed from pollution.

I am not sure who's idea but a perumal temple on top of the hill, thrilling walk, no roads available. The Anamalai, Pollachi Valley view is fantastic.

Aliyar Dam is located in the foothills of Valparai, in the Anamalai Hills

Aliyar Dam Park, not well maintained but enjoyable.
So I am starting the ride valparai 40 Kms, its not easy 40 hair pin bends and a bad accident memory with Clint ma friend long back.
This bike performance was extra ordinary than what I expected
